About The New Savant

The New Savant is an artist-owned candle studio located in Brooklyn, NY. They welcome and appreciate unique tastes and style. As part of the elevated craft/maker movement, The New Savant makes everything by hand and in small batches. They use domestic suppliers; vessels made from post-consumer waste and use minimal packaging materials. Everything is focused on having a small footprint and giving their customers an exceptional experience.

Young love is something a lot of queer people have missed out on, and that is usually a sad point in our lives. Dreamgirl represents working through that grief and changing the narrative. It gives us a portal to feel the joy of young love, as an adult. It is rebellious, intense and buoyant. Think of it as a coming-of-age story through smell.
Imagine: wearing her leather jacket, a drive-in movie, kissing in the backseat, cigarettes and chapstick, the cherry on a milkshake, chipped nail polish, silver rings in Silver Lake, messy hair, low-slung jeans, talking ’til 3 am.
