    The Story Behind This Perfume

    In the 1930s skiing was a new-born sport reserved for a much reduced social elite. In those days St Moritz had already become the place to go for the European aristocracy and one of its habitual visitors was Albert Fouquet, creator of the Eight & Bob perfumes. He made interminable journeys there from Paris every winter.

    On one particular evening in Megève, Albert was invited to a pre-Christmas party attended by many rigorously selected guests who were well known and of high society. He spent hours conversing, laughing, and dancing, making this night in Megève a truly memorable one.

    Upon his return to Paris, Fouquet wanted to hold onto his memories of that evening without forgetting any part of the magic of Megève: the smell of the mountain air and the wood burning in the fireplace, the ambiance created by that select party. Thus, Nuit de Megève was born.
