This is one of the most awesome beauty products I have ever used!!! I've been using it for 10 years now. Not only is it the best and most spectacular lip balm, but it actually does wonders for my psoriasis. Just a little dab and rub on my psoriasis skin and it moisturizes and heals. It's also great to put a little bit in your eyebrows when combing for that perfect shaped look. This amazing product can be used for so many things. My boyfriend has horribly dry elbows, so I use it on him too. I love this product and will continue to use it as long as it is available to me. Thank you!!! (Posted on 5/21/13)

I'm currently on this medication which makes my lips and skin really dry and chapped. I was struggling to find something to soothe my cracked lips and needed something urgently (as I play the trombone) when my cousin sent this to mum for Christmas. Out of desperation, I tried some, and haven't looked back since. Now I need to get mum a new tin! It's a bit of a pain trying to get the lid off if you have some lotion on your hands but I am so loving that old-school vibe and 'apothecary' written on the tin! (Posted on 3/4/13)

Rose Slave is the best lip and nail care I have ever found!! Within minutes of putting it on my lips feel amazing and my cuticles are saved from cracking and getting ugly. I love the smell!! but please! try to re-package.. the tin can is hard to open after a lot of use or after putting on some lotion.. A lift tab or tube would be great! I love this stuff. I bought it for lip balm, but wound up using it to keep my cuticles soft and my skin from drying in the cold weather. After about a week of use on my cuticles and nails I realized that my previously weak, brittle, peeling nails were thicker and stronger than they have ever been in my entire life! I think it is the lanolin - my nails feel like they have a protective coating. It's amazing. And that's on top of the fact that it is made of natural ingredients and smells like heaven. I would bathe in this stuff if I could. I only wish it came in a larger tin. Or that they had an entire line of products based on this formula. I'm in love. (Posted on 11/15/12)

I am a lip gloss junkie and this may be the best product I have ever used! Not only is it fabulous on lips, I use it on my cuticles in between manicures to keep my nails strong. On the lips, it is smooth, long lasting, and glossy but not sticky. The smell is light and clean. Although the tin can be tricky to open, the product lasts forever and is quality. I have always kind of liked the other Rosebud Salve, but the taste was terrible, it was too thick and it was hard to find. I tried this stuff and it's so much better, tastes better and is way lighter. (Posted on 8/22/12)

I stumbled across this tin at Bath and Body works. I have used it on my self on my dry, cracked hands ( winter skin) and elbows, cuticles and lips. I have a 4 year old little girl that gets chapped super easy, and gets the bright red/ brown chap marks above and below her lips- this stuff fixes her in a day or two. She asks for it all the time, and we love the soft scent. I do agree with other reviews and wish it came in a squeeze tube, as I am a bit germ phobic, and it's gross and unsanitary to keep putting my fingers in the tin... at least I am an avid hand washer- hence the chapped hands! I have very chapped lips...They flake, crack, and bleed. I came across this rose salve a few years ago and it helped tremendously in such a short amount of time. Then we moved, I lost my tin, and forgot all about it. I tried product after product, Shea butter, beeswax, etc. Anything I could find, I tried it. Then last week I was cleaning out a closet getting ready to move again, and I found my tin!!!! I was so happy I almost cried!! It is by far one of the best products on the market. (Posted on 5/9/12)

This stuff is amazing. I use it for my lips, and occasionally my elbows. I live in Colorado, and my skin is always very dry, so my lips are often flaky and chapped. This rose salve is the best lip balm I have ever used (and trust me, I've used many). One thing I like to do is put a little bit of lip stain or lipstick on my lips, and then smooth some of the salve over it - the salve doubles as lip gloss. The only thing that could possibly make this any better is if it came in one of those squeeze tubes for lip gloss, because I hate using my fingers. Other than the ick factor of having to use my fingers, the only thing I dislike is that the tin is, well, a tin. Mine has several large dents and many scratches (just from being in my backpack and purse! and also, um, stepped on), which is another reason why a plastic tube would be great. This is a must-have item for everyone, especially people with chapped lips. (Posted on 4/18/12)

This stuff is fantastic. For years I suffered from extremely chapped lips and looked for something to help. This Rose Salve did the trick. It makes your lips feel, well, as soft as a rose. I use this stuff everyday at least once and that's enough to make my lips super soft. Plus, there's no residue left behind after it wears off. The only thing left over is super soft lips. Rose Salve is a wonderful moisturizer for lips. One tin lasts for several months even with several uses per day. The texture is smooth and blends well into lips. The scent is a light rose with a very subtle vanilla undertone. This salve completely eliminates chapped or dry lips fast. I gave a tin to a male friend as a gift and he uses it regularly. I have not used salve on cuticles or elbows, but I'm sure it's wonderful as a dry skin treatment on any part of the body. Rose Salve is highly recommended by this lip product enthusiast!
